When Barbara and Rick find a mysterious wooden box on the beach, they discover it contains a grumpy, old-fashioned wizard named Mr. Merlin. Accidentally freed from his centuries-long imprisonment, Mr. Merlin is hopelessly out of place in the modern world. The siblings must help him navigate suburban life and find a way to send him home, all while keeping his magical abilities a secret and dealing with the hilarious and chaotic trouble his spells create.
